DERMAL FILLER

Dermal filler is a substance that is injected under the skin to soften facial wrinkles and to help replenish volume and fullness in the face. As we age our faces naturally lose the subcutaneous fat that gives us our youthful appearance. Dermal filler is an effective way to restore some of that plumpness and youth and is a great alternative to more extreme, invasive cosmetic procedures.

Dry, lined lips that lack volume are one of the main areas of concern for our clients. We use filler to increase volume and enhance the shape of the lips. The result: fuller, plumper, natural looking lips. Perhaps you feel the symmetry of your lips needs to be restored or maybe you want to rebalance the proportions to work in harmony with the structure of your face; whatever the concern, the treatment will achieve less lines, will look even and in proportion and will appear hydrated, smooth and full.

Lip enhancement

Dry, lined lips that lack volume are one of the main areas of concern for our clients. We use filler to increase volume and enhance the shape lips. The result can be fuller, plumper lips, perhaps the symmetry has been restored or maybe the upper and lower lip have been enhanced to rebalance the proportions. Whatever the result, the lips will always have less lines, will look even and in proportion and will appear hydrated and smooth.

Tear troughs

The fatty tissue below the eyes starts to dissipate as we get older and the hollowing that presents is particularly noticeable when we are tired or run down. By administering filler to this area, we can restore some of the volume, thus creating a more youthful and fresh appearance.

Nasolabial folds

We love smile lines but sometimes they can make us look older. We apply dermal filler to this area to reduce the lines and wrinkles caused by the smiling movement. Fillers cannot cause nasolabial folds to completely disappear, but they can make them less pronounced. They can also be used to help nearby skin look fuller and more youthful.

Marionette lines

As our muscles become slacker and our skin becomes looser, we can sometimes notice a downturned appearance at the corners of our mouths. This can be corrected by applying filler to this area around the mouth. Also applying filler to the cheeks can help to lift the face in general, thus sometimes also helping to correct some of the downturned areas around the mouth.

Smokers lines

These lines are caused by frequent pursing of the lips, whether it be from talking, smoking or pouting! These lines can add years on to your appearance, but this area is easily treatable. We apply a small amount of filler here to reduce the depth and appearance of these lines which creates a smoother more youthful appearance around the mouth.

Cheek enhancements

The cheekbones are the main underlying facial structure and their prominence is essential to creating the appearance of a youthful, defined bone structure. We apply hyaluronic filler to the cheek area which plumps, defines and sculpts cheekbones that have lost their volume due to age or perhaps to create better symmetry and definition. Not only do cheek fillers plump and elevate the cheekbones, they help to create a beautiful mid-cheek contour shadow which of course helps create a slim, yet sculpted appearance.

Jawline contouring

As we age, our jaw decreases in size and becomes less defined. We use dermal filler to define the jaw and create more structure to the lower half of the face. This balances the features and helps to restore a youthful appearance. We use a thicker hyaluronic acid dermal filler which has been specifically designed for use in the chin and jawline, to improve overall facial harmony, to soften ‘jowls, improve sunken chins, and to give a stronger more defined jawline.
